Cristina is recognized as the leading lawyer in the Romanian energy market, being
ranked first in Energy & Natural Resources by Chambers Europe. Cristina has an
impressive deal record in M&A having been involved in the most significant
transactions in the oil, gas and electricity sectors in Romania to date. Highlight deals
include assisting the Romanian Government in all its successful sales of Romanian
electricity distributors to top corporations such as E.ON., ENEL and CEZ, or advising
the National Company for Gas Transportation Services in connection with its 10%
share capital initial public offering. Cristina gained outstanding experience also in
the banking sector advising on a variety of projects among which the first largest
private partnership in the banking sector in Romania – Tiriac Group and Bank
Austria Creditanstalt AG forming Unicredit Tiriac or assisting in banking
transaction clients such as Deutsche Bank AG or Black Sea Trade and Development
Bank.
