Energy & Natural Resources

The shift in focus towards low-emissions, sustainability, security and reliability of supply presents the new challenges for the industries of energy and natural resources. Increased regulatory pressures or, conversely, the absence of clear regulations on issues which are central to the successful development and implementation of a business plan substantially increase the importance of clear, timely and sophisticated legal advice.

PeliFilip relies on its strong team of highly qualified legal consultants with extensive experience, recognized competencies and professionalism to achieve high quality assistance in a large variety of projects in the Energy and Natural Resources industries.

The PeliFilip lawyers advised on the majority of the most complex and high profile energy and natural resources transactions in Romania over the last 12 years. The cumulative experience of our team includes some of the most interesting and high profile privatizations, energy and natural resources investment projects, acquisitions and corporate reorganizations of energy companies, energy infrastructure projects and financing schemes for the energy sector.

We believe that our track-record and our large specialised and dedicated team, as well as the ability of our other practice areas to offer high-quality integrated support for any ancillary matters allow us to anticipate our clients’ interests and meet their legal needs at the highest level available on the Romanian market.
