EXPERIENCE:

Ioana developed her key qualifications in the areas of real estate, corporate
governance and commercial law, being involved in major projects and transactions
for both Romanian and foreign clients. Before joining Peli Filip, Ioana has worked
with the Romanian leading law firm. Ioana’s expertise in real estate includes
structuring of transactions, development and financing of real estate projects,
leasing, private-public partnership in real estate projects, infrastructure projects, as
well as various regulatory matters related to the development of real estate projects.
She has advised leading international developers in all real estate areas such as
commercial (Sonae Sierra, Argo Real Estate Opportunities Fund, Plaza Centers,
Neocity), office (Globe Trade Center, AIG Lincoln, Fabian Romania Property Fund),
logistics (ProLogis, VGP), residential (GTC, Plaza Centers, Neocity, Central Park) and
infrastructure (Bechtel). Her other areas of expertise include corporate governance
and commercial law, developed among others during the secondments with Tenaris
and Argo Real Estate Opportunities Fund.
