EXPERIENCE:
Monica’s main practice areas are projects and energy. She gained also
extensive experience in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate and
commercial law, privatisations and capital markets. Before joining Peli Filip, Monica
has worked with the Romanian leading law firm, acting in complex projects for both
international and domestic clients. Highlight deals include assistance to the
Government of Romania in the proposed privatisation of the electricity distribution
and supply companies in the regions of Transilvania Sud, Transilvania Nord and
Muntenia Nord, assistance to Nomura International plc on the proposed IPO of
the Fildas Group, assistance to Tenaris Group in the implementation of the
restructuring process subsequent to the acquisition of Donasid SA and Silcotub SA,
assistance to Trinity Industries Inc., the leading US railroad car manufacturer on
the implementation of their exit strategy from Romania and assistance to Vodafone
Romania in acquiring dealership services networks in certain regions of Romania.
